Bone marrow aspiration 07 aspirating the marrow
  1. Stylet removed from needle.
  2. 20 ml syringe attached to needle.
  3. Vigorous suction applied. NB - Dog may feel some discomfort at this point.
  4. Bloody fluid containing marrow flecks aspirated into syringe.
